Why I’m Stepping Away from f95zone

This will be my last time addressing my experiences with f95zone.

Recently, I came across a review on the platform that didn’t critique the game itself but instead focused entirely on the fact that I offer a paid version alongside the public one. It dismissed the effort and time I’ve put into the project, framing it as little more than an “advertisement” because not everything was available for free.

This kind of feedback isn’t just disappointing—it’s infuriating. It feels like some people on the platform are more aligned with the idea of getting games for free rather than supporting the developers who create them. The entire purpose of releasing a public version is to offer something for free while giving those who want to support the project access to more content. It’s a way for small creators like myself to keep going, not a cash grab or scam.

At this point, I’ve realized that f95zone isn’t the right place for me or my work. While I initially thought it could be a way to connect with a larger audience, it’s become clear that the platform fosters a culture that doesn’t align with my values as a creator.

From now on, I will no longer be posting updates or engaging on f95zone. Instead, I’ll focus my energy on platforms like itch.io, Patreon, and Subscribestar—places where I can share my work with those who truly value it and are willing to support creators ethically.

If you have any questions about the game or need help, feel free to post a public question on the game’s page on itch.io, or better yet, join our Discord server. I’m happy to interact with players and answer questions in spaces where creativity and respect are prioritized.

To everyone who has shown genuine interest and support: thank you. Your encouragement means everything, and I’m excited to keep moving forward and sharing my work with you in spaces that foster creativity and mutual respect.
